“This homestay has an impressive 9.0 out of 10.0 rating, and I was curious to know why. After reading the reviews, I noticed that many guests speak more about Elvira herself than about the facilities—often giving her a perfect score of 10.0. I completely agree. Like many others who choose to stay here, I’m a long-term traveler in the Philippines. As anyone who’s traveled for a while would understand, minor inconveniences tend to fade with time. (That’s why I’m writing this review a week after my stay.) What truly stays with us are the people we meet or the places that leave a lasting impression. For me, Elvira was one of those people. Her easygoing nature, openness, and confidence made her instantly approachable. Until then, my experiences in Manila, Mactan, and Cebu had left me feeling somewhat uneasy about the country. But during the two days I stayed here, talking with Elvira helped me relax and see things in a different, more positive light. Thanks to her, I left with a brighter, more open-hearted impression of the Philippines.”

“Nothing much to do but to have a comfortable place to sleep on. The facility has free parking, the shower though has no heater but the water pressure is high. All in all, it is affordable and if you only care a comfortable place to sleep on, this is perfect. ”

“I’ve stayed here just for sleep as my flight landed at midnight. The owner always replied rapidly and arranged a tuk tuk for us - only 200 pesos even though I asked it on the arrival day. You have to ask it before 6pm. And the first impression of the accommodation was cozy and clean. The bed was also clean and tidy. They have coffee and snacks. I broke a beer bottle when I woke up, and the owner and the staff were willing to help me! We enjoyed our stay here - highly recommend!”
