“There is a short flight of steps in the room to get to the main bedroom. The room was cozy and comfortable. Great amenities provided in the room. ”

“We stayed at Karel V during a festival weekend and loved the fact that, in the midst of the city center, the hotel and its garden really feels like a peaceful oasis. The staff was perfectly pleasant and not overly formal, and the rooms and buildings were tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The wellness area, offering a sauna, steambath, jacuzzi and swimming pool was well taken care of. All in all, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel! ”

“Enjoyed the stay and lovin this city. It’s far from the noisy crowd like in amsterdam. Right choice to rest and chill and there are many nice cafes and restaurants around. The room was spacious and has all the amenities you need. Toilet is tad smaller and If you are travelling with big luggage, you may want to take note on the steep and narrow staircases. Other than that, I would still highly recommend to stay here !”

“The hotel is literally inside the mall. It takes about 3 minutes walk from the Utrecht train station and the mall is open 247 though the shops close around 8pm. The hotel itself is easy to locate. The lobby is spacious. Reception is generally nice but 1 of the staff can be sarcastic. The breakfast is the same everyday. The hotel room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. There are no bathtubs. You can get some things like toothbrushes if you ask for it.”
