“Goed gelegen in de t oude centrum, heel vriendelijk personeel en fraai gebouw. De kamer op de begane grond had geen venster dus een beetje benauwd misschien wanneer compleet bezet? ”

“There are no double beds in this hotel, when requested through Agoda it gave an option to have either double or twin but unfortunately upon arrival we were advised that the advertisement was incorrect and there were no double beds, only twins. They then told us we could put the sheets together to make a double bed but would not assist. We were also offered breakfast complimentary with our stay and then were attempted to be charged, day staff were unhelpful. Will not be returning”

“recently modernised hotel, housed in an old prison. on the edge of Alkmaar, so convenient for the city and wider area. free parking available next to the hotel (5 pm until 9 am). great breakfast in modern bar/restaurant area. small gym, but has everything you need. only slight negative, because the hotel is in an ex-prison, it can be loud as the people talking echo down the building and into the rooms”
