“Good: Unique historical hotel. The central location puts everything within walking distance. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Felt safe. Free parking. Bad: Very expensive. No hot water (cold showers). Poorly insulated (could hear all outside noise), no shelves/hooks in bathroom for toiletries.”

“I booked this hotel for 1 night as I wanted a beautiful colonial hotel with good internet for video calls. We got a room facing the parking lot (others faced a church) and unfortunately it had a terrible smell, a Mix of urine, cleaning products and dirty air ducts, we thought all rooms must be like this so we didn’t complain but unoccupied rooms were left open and it seemed to be a problem only in our room. Room size was good and the shower area was large (no tub), they even had free water bottles though I would have preferred refillable water stations. The inside and outside decor were very aesthetically pleasing and well taken care of. There were no facilities to speak of (no pool, rooftop, tiny seating area at the door) but there was an attached restaurant where your included breakfast was served. Breakfast was your average Nica breakfast (no meat included or allowed) but came with coffee and juice. Tbh I expected a little nicer meal for the price of the hotel. Internet was not great - 6MB according to speed test so not sure why WiFi has good reviews. Location was excellent as it was walking distance to everything, but the downtown area is very small so any hotel in that area will be well located. All in all it was a pleasant stay (barring the room smell) but I didn’t feel the value was there for the price. ”
