“I came here for my 35th birthday and I had a fucking ball from my butler that made my stay even better making sure I can enjoy myself instead of get to my excursion and making sure things was set the staff was also and they gave wonderful vibes this is definitely worth the stay I stayed in the eclipse there’s 3 locations on this property but they are all beautiful I really enjoyed myself and can’t stress that enough if you look for relaxation and great energy this is a place to be ❤️❤️❤️”

“We recently stayed in this resort and just got back. This was one of the more expensive resorts we've booked and had high expectations. The location and facilities were great, only about 15 mins from the airport via Shuttle. The shuttle is NOT free, it was $78 round trip which wasn't mentioned. The restaurants were above average, some better than others. Keep in mind many of the food is the same - the buffet will have alot of it especially for breakfast, desserts and drinks. The beach was decent, not much and it's on the Zilara side.. My experience though was ruined by incident where my cash went missing while we were just using the swim up pool at the back. Alot of cash was taken from my wallet while we were using the room, albeit we were outside. I reported to security and manager, and matter is not yet resolved as I write (5+ days). I don't expect much personally, but we wasted our 2nd full day handling this matter, locking up our belongings and checking in our rooms every 2 hours. It wasn't the best - and yes our stay was ruined by 1-2 people. Advice is to not let housekeeping or stock person in your room if possible OR just lock up everything or take them with you at all times. Overall, for the price, I would expect better process around security matters. I felt like my report wasn't taken seriously and made to feel like I was making it all up. The staff from restaurants and entertainment were great otherwise. Unfortunately my experience wasn't all that great because of the incident mentioned above and the wasted time and energy trying to resolve it. Customer service definitely needs to improve, especially in the area or responsiveness. ”

“First staying at Riu and we had a great time! The buffet served different varieties each night as well as lunch. There is always something going on during the day at the resort and you’re also allowed to visit the sister resort down the beach! I would definitely return!!”

“I’d have to say that coming to Jamaica is always a great idea. I made this booking the day of travel because it is located very close to the airport (6 minutes away). I also really wanted to relax and got it for 59% off, but there were a few issues. I ended up changing my room several times due to a weird mildew smell in the room. Before my last room change, I was surprised to find some critters (roaches) in the closet. The staff at this hotel did not hesitate to make me feel comfortable and upgrade me to a spacious and beautiful oceanfront view. The drinks were top-tier, and the entertainment was incredible. How can I forget to mention that you would be welcomed into the resort with a nice, cool glass of rum punch!!! I ended up going off the resort to get what I thought was authentic Jamaican food. Luckily for me, KFC and Burger King are right across the street from the resort, along with a little shopping plaza with other food options. Just be mindful when crossing that complicated street. Honestly, I was not really a fan of the food that was offered at the resort other than those tasty patties in the late-night sports bar. If you are going to go there for food, make sure you get there early because when the food runs out, you are out of luck until breakfast. Even though I went to this resort alone, I never actually felt that way because the staff became your friends. They do everything that they can to make you feel welcomed and safe. It is also very easy to make friends with the other guests, especially through the various activities that the resort offers. Lastly, there are taxis on site for all your transportation needs.”
