“We recently returned from a delightful family trip to Nainital. While the scenic beauty of the place stole our hearts, our hotel stay was a bit of a mixed bag. I'm writing this review to share our experience at The Golden Sunrise Hotel in Jeolikote, hoping it helps future travelers. The Good: Unbeatable Valley View: Let's get the best part out of the way first. The view from our room's balcony was absolutely breathtaking! The vast expanse of Smanora Range hills was a sight to behold, especially during sunrise and sunset. This, in itself, made the entire trip worthwhile. Helpful Staff: Amarjeet, the manager, deserves a special mention. He was incredibly polite and always willing to address our concerns. Despite the initial hiccups, his pleasant demeanor helped smooth things over. The guy who took our orders (his name escapes me, unfortunately) was also very courteous and friendly. Delicious (Except Paneer): The food at the hotel's restaurant was a pleasant surprise. We thoroughly enjoyed most of the dishes, especially those that weren't paneer-based. There seemed to be a recurring issue with the paneer preparations, which were a bit off on all occasions. Areas for Improvement: Initial Room Disappointment: Unfortunately, our initial impression of the hotel wasn't great. The room we were assigned wasn't up to par. It lacked cleanliness, particularly on the balcony, and basic amenities like toiletries were missing from the bathroom. Thankfully, the staff addressed this promptly and offered to get us fresh towels and amenities upon request. Limited Amenities: While the view was a saving grace, the in-room amenities were quite basic. It would have been nice to have had a few more conveniences, like disposable slippers (they gave dirty used slippers)/ AC, to make the stay more comfortable. Overall Impression: Despite the initial hiccups, our stay at The Golden Sunrise Hotel was good. The stunning view and the helpfulness of Amarjeet and the hotel staff definitely helped turn things around.”

The best part was the review and guidance by the hotel representative (Gaurav bhaiya), without his guidance our trip may not be carried out structurally. Support and review by him help us to make our trip successful with a lot of adventure, sightseeing, and enjoyment. ”
