“Comfort stay”

“We were happy with the stay as the rooms were really clean and had all the amenities for a comfortable stay. The property is about an hour's drive away from the Kakanakote Safari Point, but apart from that there's not much around near the property. The property is well maintained, with a swimming pool and an in-house restaurant. The price of rooms were reasonable considering what you need to pay if you're staying close to the Kabini Forest. ”

“This is an independent, newly-built 2-bedroom house on the first floor on the outskirts of Mysore, about 8-10 kms from the city centre. The owner lives in the ground floor. You'll like this house if you have small kids that need space, privacy and a kitchen to cook. The locality is very decent but secluded. The kids can play outside the house on the street during daytime as it is peaceful and not many vehicles pass through this street. You get hot water 24 hours via solar, if the weather is not very bad. There are no attached bathrooms but only one common bathroom, which is very much manageable. Basic utensils are provided in the kitchen. You can park your 4-wheeler outside the building on the side of the road. You can go around Mysore from this place if you have your own vehicle and plan properly. There are no big eateries around but Zomato delivers food here Now coming to improvement areas: 1) The kitchen and the bathroom was not cleaned when we checked-in. 2) There is no fridge or microwave oven and hence becomes difficult to store/heat food or milk for small children. 3) The bedroom next to pooja room has red ant homes at the door frames that bit my 2-year old girl badly when she was sleeping on the bed. 4) There is a smart TV with no cable connection but Wi-Fi that was working only intermittently. You have to cast the video content from your phone to watch anything. 5) The mosquitoes were not many but there are quite a few that enter through the ventilators in the bathroom and pooja room. 6) The toiletries and towels were not provided. You need to carry them along. 7) The bedspreads and blankets have to be washed and cleaned before every check-in. Overall, we were very satisfied. It could have been exceptional and 5-star had the above improvement areas were taken care of.”

“I stayed two nights at le mysuru palace. For the first day we complained that hot water was not coming. They suggested that there would be buckets of waste water, post which hot water might come. The next day morning we waited for 30-40 mins and hot water did not come in tap, after complaining about this.. the staff arranged an alternate room for bath. This disturbed my itinerary for the day by an hour and a half.. but staff was supportive enough. I stayed at 204 and they gave 302 for freshening up. And the second day issues were resolved and we got hot water seamlessly.”

“Stayed for one night at Hotel Hari Govinda's. The Good - great location - restaurant was good with great vegetarian options - good, clean rooms and bathroom The Bad - A/c wasn't working too well. We had to use the fan in full blast to cool the room down - The light in the corridor was streaming into the room thanks to a weird, translucent glass panel above the door! A problem for those like me who can't sleep when the room is not dark. This needs to be corrected by the hotel management. ”

“This was first time stay here. Locn is just behind KSRTC b.s and is walkable. Room was as advertised, clean bathroom with enuff toiletries provided. No dearth of good food options(Siddarameswara cafe , hotel santhosh) opp to lodge r good.Support staff are also amenable.Overall, good comfortable stay. ”
