“Romantic, cultured elegance laced in graceful simplicity. This is one of the most beautiful hotels Ive ever been to. The architecture transports you to an ancient time of old world catholic charm laced with mayan history buried deep into its foundations. The rooms are so quaint and spacious and cozy with a big fireplace and outdoor sitting area. The food was delicious, the fountains were flowing with pure magic, the main steamroom was soo steamy, the spa pools were incredible! So much value in every experience! I cant wait to come back!”

“I had booked this nicer hotel after a volcano hike where I knew my legs would be sore and wanted to take advantage of the hot tub. I arrived at 1pm wanting nothing more than a shower but they told me I couldn’t check in until 3p. I had something booked 2-4 and when I came back the hot tub was located inside the gym and closed at 6pm. So had very little time to use it and the pool or steam room. Was checking out the next day at 8 so a bit disappointed. Also about a 15 minute walk from Central Park which is fine during the day but didn’t look great at night so I ordered room service from the menu in the room and they charged me 50% more than the menu said. This took 30 minutes to correct upon checkout where I almost missed my shuttle. Also you get a ticket for one towel per day and are meant to keep it all day, so make sure you don’t return it early if you’re going to want this longer. Could use some improvement on amenities hours but overall very nice hotel.”

“This is a hotel that offers all you can expect, especially if you are attending a meeting, as is my case. Wonderful meeting rooms and the meals are really good! My room is also very lovely and comfortable. ”
