“We stopped at the premiere expecting just the usual standard hotel. This one far exceeded our expectations. The bed was luxurious the facilities in the room brilliant. This is a 5star hotel. All the staff were helpful and just lovely people if I come back to Southampton for a cruise I am not stopping anywhere else. This hotel was so nice.”

“I love this hotel and have stayed here twice before. The food is delicious and I’ve been to birthday parties held in the pods in the grounds, which accommodate up to 10 people. They have DJ’s in the summer and tables outside. It’s a beautiful place and there’s a lounge and a bar as well as a great dining are and conservatory. They also have a function room and there are many weddings held here. Highly recommend. ”

“The staff was helpful as our original booking with another hotel had a problem due to it was closed for renovation. Agoda did try to book us into Abbey Losge and the lady was very helpful to help us settle in. The place is clean and we felt lucky staying at that place. ”

“Try to get room 1 - the river view is stunning. Room is small and sparsely furnished but modern, in good taste, and very practical. Unfortunately there was a very loud disco below until 11:30 so I did not get a good night's sleep the one night I stayed. I don't know how you'd know to avoid special events like this but do try to check. The whole room was vibrating. ”
