“We booked this hotel for my parents to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. They both had a lovely time. The staff were super helpful and the food was great too!”

“Our room was small but had everything we needed. The only negative it was hot and there was no Aircon, however, this is probably to be expected in a hotel like this. The decor was lovely though, sort of modern vintage and it was very central. The market was opposite and the Dingle maybe a 5 minute walk. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice. We also found drinks and snacks in the evening to be very competitively priced. Service was excellent, nothing too much trouble and always with a smile. We would recommend anyone give this lovely hotel a go.”

“Netley Hall is real gem and great value considering the high cost of better known country estates. From the moment we entered the long winding tree lined lane leading up to stately old manor home we were enchanted. Everything about Netley Hall oozes old world charm. Stunning entrance hall with chandeliers, atmospheric bar for evening glass of port, sitting rooms with cosy armchairs to relax in. Bedrooms are large and have been updated to a modern standard with excellent shower and bathroom fittings. Breakfast buffet could have had a better selection of hot food ie egg station with choice of fried, poached, boiled etc rather than just scrambled and choice of sausages beef/pork & vegan for non meat eaters. Other than that minor criticism we loved our stay and would gladly stay here again. ”

“We arrived early and the very helpful young man showed us around and let us half check in so we wouldn’t have to come back later, before we were done with the evening. Even have us a key! Room was lovely and the view was nice…. Will probably return ”

“Room was lovely and quirky.Hotel was very quiet as not many people staying there on this night which meant the bar was dead and the restaurant closed.Great location for Shrewsbury town.I would stay again.”
