“No housekeeping to clean up the room ”

“Ground floor room next to the car park created some noise issues at 2 am in the morning. If these were members of staff leaving after their shift then the hotel should perhaps have a few words with them. It seemed unlikely that they were guests leaving at this time and the restaurant was well closed. Our experience of the next door restaurant was also a little disappointing given the price which did not quite match the quality of food and the service issues with staff failing to deliver any requested condiments to our table after 2 requests. When we tried to order dessert we were told the kitchen was closed. Good value though in a lovely location next to the riverside. ”

“Booked it in last minute coz original booked room at Novotel is terribly maintenance. Glad have make the decision to change to this hotel. Hotel is just at at train station. It is so convenient. Will definitely book this hotel on next trip to reading. ”

“This is mostly a very good hotel. Just ensure you ask for a room away from the dual carriageway (the A329). ”

“Nice staff. Plain single bed room with TV and pedistool fan. Shred loo and bathroom. Was booked only for 1 night but will be going back and stay there on my return journey for another 1 night in a few weeks time when I`m on my way back home (Shropshire). Breakfast was sausage, bacon, hash brown and egg with toast and coffee or tea all in with the price; great value.”

“Hotel is excellent location is excellent rooms is big and nice but the Tv channel is very old . The reception not Answar the telephone some times and the house keeper not clean the rooms some day . , ”
