“ I was allocated a room immediately opposite the lift (Rm 350) presumably because I didn’t pay very much. Sleep was disturbed by noise from lift. ”

“Does what it says on the tin. Slightly small room but very modern and well presented. Nice bathroom and excellent shower. The connecting bar was very lively, good atmosphere and the bar snacks where delicious (loaded chips surf n turf). Overall good value for money.”

“Good location. If you are looking for a quieter area of the City but still within easy reach here it is! Stoped at the near by Osbourne bar for some food and drinks. I was feeling quite fit so walked into the City center from the hotel. ”

“The rooms were warm and cozy, just what we wanted for a winter treat. Sitting by the fire in the inglenook fireplace was very relaxing. The food was very good. The set menu was excellent value, but the al a carte menu was quite pricey for the portion sizes”

“Staff very helpful and friendly, room nice idea not put together well, poorly thought out, not very clean sadly and blind handyman repairs!! Very cold aircon heating inoperative and not just he toon but all public spaces too. Room very noisy from bar below hotel offer earplugs which isn’t much consolation at £106 a night. Needs noise proofing if it’s to be a hotel room at hose rates. Parking awkward but at least they had some so can’t really complain about that. It was ok but disappointing ”

“Staff very nice, wish we had taken their advice and eaten at the hotel and not the local Tony carvery! Only problem was locating the entrance as the sat nav kept taking us to the wrong side of the hotel with no entrance. ”
