“Clean rooms and hotel, helpful and friendly staff ”

“Rooms are a little tired however ample space for a family. Grounds are lovely and well kept. Breakfast was a little disappointing, we visited as a young family and found the options for kids limited, the usual sweet treats like pancakes/waffles were nowhere to be seen (apparently they only do them on the weekends), and the baskets containing baked items like croissants were empty by 9am. Overall good stay though”

“Cons: - The mattress sag badly!!! - King bed = two single bed mattress put together - No soap, shampoo, shower gel etc. only hand soap available - Poor sound insulation: I can hear people walking in the hallway, the alarm from other rooms too clearly that I thought it was in my room. - TV (remote control) didn’t work Pos: - Good location: next to ALDI, free parking - Clean - Quiet neighbourhood (only when your neighbours are quiet)”

“Loved the breakfast menu! Clean room and near public transport. Struggled a bit with the stairs though - was quite steep but not a huge issue. ”

“It was OK. I would go again if we needed to be in that particular area, but I wouldn't say it was the most comfortable. It was so hot and no aircon. They did provide a fan, however it wasn't worth using as it was rubbish. Free grab and go breakfast was better than expected. Staff were pleasant too. ”

“If you're faced with a good brand at twice the price, stay at V Lodge. The only improvement is to tidy up the bathroom to fix the gaps in the units. The room is clean and has a comfy bed. The staff was invaluable. ”
