“Really enjoyed our stop over before the end of our road trip. From check in to check out you were made to feel at home. Sat outside on a hot night just watching the sun set. Breakfast was just right, plenty of continental choice and a full English breakfast. Unfortunately, on Sunday night they only had pizzas available which my partner doesn't eat, but on their recommendation we did go to the Bridge End Inn in Talgarth, the next village. Where Jenny was so good. Thinking of going back .....! ”

“Nice country hotel with original old building and newer annexes either side. The staff were excellent and food in the restaurant was very good. Rooms are a little tired - beds no longer have good support and soundproofing not great. The gardens are now somewhat smaller than advertised with a chunk sold off for development but still a very pleasant hotel and very competitively priced. Building, staff, food made a great stay.”

Rooms are clean, well decorated and tastefully furnished, providing modern facilities in a way that does not conflict with the age and history of the building. There is an excellent choice of food and drink, which is of high quality and more reasonably priced than at similar properties I have stayed at. Staff are friendly and efficient. I recommend the Green Man highly and am looking forward to staying there again. ”
