“I booked here as I was looking for budget accommodation. It is located near to the middle of town, quiet and clean. The room was rather small, and the view out the window not too special, but I think for what I paid it was a decent stop over place.”

“We spent one night at The Golden Eagle in beautiful Chester before going home from a 21 day trip to the highlands and parts of England. The pub and hotel room were full of character, and a favorite on this trip. Very friendly staff, including Jeannie who served us a delicious full English breakfast in the morning. The one disappointment was cold water when my husband attempted to take a shower. It was warm by the time I took mine.”

“Lovely hotel in the centre of Chester . Room had everything you'd need. The bed was comfy and the staff were all nice. We ate in the pub restaurant which was great too. The only downside was the noise at night ie. from people in the pub both inside and out, from fellow guests going past the room and from the noisy fridge. If you are willing to take earbuds which we did as we'd read about the noise then this shouldn't be too much of a problem. ”

“Excellent stay friendly and efficient helpful staff .Good breakfast with self serve plenty of options and if ifs not there tge chef will cook for you.Brilliant location with shops pubs bars restaurants within easy walking distance.
