“The house overall is very well maintained with a beautiful garden. But be careful that there is limited access to anywhere else except to your room and bathroom, result in some inconvenience such as no fridge and microwave. Because the place is too remote and no breakfast provided, guest may bring some simple food themselves. Highly Recommend the landlord to purchase a second hand very small fridge and microwave to place inside of the guest room, especially she concerned so much to help others warm up their food, which is a bit unreasonable to me when I fell sick and need to warm my food up. The landlord in general was friendly, even prepared a booklet to introduce the surroundings and attractions. Her recommendation of cheddar cliff made my day. The only default was that the bed was too narrow, I feel less than 1m wide, less than a dorm bed. I almost fell off from bed several times. Also the noise proof was not very good due to it’s an old house.”

The flexibility to adjust the menu to our liking was greatly appreciated, as it ensured no food went to waste and aligned with our preference for environmentally friendly practices. There was a minor hiccup when we arrived in the evening—the doorbell at the main gate wasn't working, which led to a brief wait. We had to wave through the window to get the attention of the hosts inside. Thankfully, they saw us and promptly let us in, turning a moment of concern into a mere anecdote. Overall, our experience at this B&B was exceptional. From the stunning natural surroundings to the attentive and kind hosts, every aspect of our stay was memorable. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming retreat.”
