“Only stayed one night as we were going to a gig at the Brighton Centre. The good points! - The Brighton Centre is only a short walk round the corner from the guesthouse so the location is great. The Regency car park is also very close by and very handy. Only about a 15-20 min walk and you'll be in town, so it was a really great location. Very easy to check in and out. Other than that, the room we had was quite small, but we knew this when booking. The water pressure wasn't great in the shower and it took a while to get any hot water out of the sink. The walls are quite thin and stairs are a bit creaky so we were disturbed by other people coming back late at night, but it is an old building. There was also a random alarm that went off at 2am! As we were only there for a night, this didn't really bother us all that much but worth mentioning. Amenities were fine and room was clean. We also slept with the window open and weren't disturbed by outside noise. Overall it's a very handy, affordable location if you're attending any gigs at the Brighton Centre.”

“We used to come here 20 years ago when it first opened and thought we would visit again after staying in faceless nice hotels near the beach. It’s as good as we remembered and a unique place to stay central to all the action. We stayed in the Salon Rouge room, big bed and bathtub, with en suite and spacious shower. Lying in bed looking at the sea would be a premium in other hotels at a 100% mark up and I doubt you would have such a wonderful view over Regency Square. We finished our night in the bar playing scrabble with a drink and some great tunes. Staff were ever friendly and helpful. We will definitely be booking again soon”
