“RIU 호텔 체인에 좀 실망했어요. 아주 기본적인 호텔인 것 같아요. 멕시코의 RIU 리조트에 비해 음식과 레스토랑 종류가 많지 않아요. 좀 실망스러웠어요. 일찍 문을 닫는 작은 수영장이 하나뿐이고, 4일 동안 머물렀던 실내 수영장은 문을 닫았어요. 해변에 가려면 한 블록을 걸어야 해요.”

“On the first day, we discovered that the toilet in our toilet was broken. Thankfully, the staff changed our room fairly quickly, although the new room was smaller than we had earlier. We let that go. The second day was more frustrating. My friend accidentally drove into a steep downhill road nearby and got stuck (we know it was our mistake), so I went to the front desk to ask for help. The receptionist didn’t offer any assistance at first. She only started “trying” to help after I mentioned that I was staying at the hotel. Even then, she slowly pulled up a map and told us to just reverse the car, even though I had clearly explained it wasn’t possible in that situation. The overall vibe of the hotel was unwelcoming. Most of the guests, mainly elderly British people, had stern faces and didn’t seem friendly at all. During breakfast, we often noticed those old people staring at us, which made us feel uncomfortable. There was a subtle feeling of being treated differently, most likely because we’re Asian.”
