“The inn is in the Byward Market close to supermarkets, excellent restaurants, bars, pubs, and a large shopping mall. Very walkable to nearby sights such as the National Gallery, Museum of History, Parliament Hill, Rideau Canal, and the basilica. The room has a hair dryer, microwave, fridge, kettle, safe, and even a bathrobe which I did not expect from a three-star hotel. The property is clearly not new but all furniture and surfaces are clean. The staff were efficient and easy to communicate with. After dark there were some people with mental health issues or people asking you for money on York Street but it was not a big issue. Just do not make eye contact with them. Last but not least the breakfast was simple but there is a great variety of food. Would stay here again if I visit Ottawa.”
