“every thing is in walkable distance”

“It was a rainy night in Halifax. We stayed in quite possibly the best location for us. Walking distance to pubs and our restaurant. Welcoming staff member was friendly and efficient. The warm cookies on arrival were such a welcoming touch and very delicious. Room was quiet. View was of the waterfront but Mother Nature didn’t want us to see it. Great stay. ”

“Very nice downtown hotel. Elevators were not working though, so sub optimal. ”

“Good hotel, a little of the beaten path which was nice as long as you have a rental car! New towels are under the sink, on a shelf. But when you use a towel they have no towel racks in the bathroom to hang it up. They had a little night light plugged into an outlet behind the sink because the bathroom lights are so bright and the fan so loud. But the outlet has no power unless you turn on the light switch?? Strange!!”

“The facility was awesome, as if you were staying in the old era. Recommended for people who wanted to experience how the old house was. It was clean, and the environment was in great condition. The staff was convivial and willing to help in every way they could.”

“The hotel is close to the highway and some eateries and about 5 miles to Halifax by car. The rooms were very spacious and clean. There is also 24 hour tea and coffee in the foyer. Spoke to a lovely Jamaican lady on reception who I must admit was exceptional and made our stay so much better, that we booked an additional night at this hotel. The lady who was serving breakfast however, was rude and arrogant. The cleaning staff we spoke to spoke very little English. Apart from the staff, the hotel was perfect”

“The room was clean, bed was comfortable for sleeping. Having the ability to open the window was great for fresh air while sleeping. Would stay again!! :)”
