“It was a rainy night in Halifax. We stayed in quite possibly the best location for us. Walking distance to pubs and our restaurant. Welcoming staff member was friendly and efficient. The warm cookies on arrival were such a welcoming touch and very delicious. Room was quiet. View was of the waterfront but Mother Nature didn’t want us to see it. Great stay. ”

“Muir is what we consider the highest class hotel Halifax have to date. The valet service. They water. The staff to take you to your room. There is something for every group. We had young children and they did have some welcome kit for them. We checked in for my child's birthday and he did get a little birthday treat. It was very thoughtful. We were able to go to the pool during family time. We love that they are inclusive of all their guests. They have family time, they have adult only time for the pool. Something for everyone. We highly recomment Muir. If you are visiting Halifax and would like to stay downtown Halifax. This is the hotel.”

“We stayed for 3 nights in the hotel. First night the mattress of the bed was not good, after we discuss with front desk staff, they moved our room to a better one. Breakfast was good at the restaurant but the service needs to be improved. Location was convenient to walk to the main attractions in downtown. ”
