“Nice quiet location. It was great for a short stay at the end of our vacation. We took a couple of the tours direct from the hotel and were very happy.”

“Very nice, the staff were exceptional from the lovely lady at the front desk to the restaurant staff, the men who helped with our luggage. You have an amazing team, wish I knew their names cause they all deserve a raise!”

“I would avoid this place as much as possible. The staff is very difficult to deal with and they are not friendly at all. There was a weird sewage smell coming from my room all night and the bugs were horrible. Will never come back again! ”

“The hotel is undergoing renovations, which completely blocked out the views from my room. I pulled the curtain expecting to see the ocean as I have done all other times that I stayed at the Golden Bay. To my disappointment, upon pulling the drapes, I saw nothing but a dark room filled with construction materials and ongoing construction work. I had absolutely no view of the outside from my room. While I understood the reason for the darkness, I felt blindsided. Someone should have disclosed this information to me and let me decide if I wanted to go ahead with the reservations. If I knew the condition of the room beforehand, I would have required a significantly lower room cost. I would still stay at Golden Bay in the future, but I would not do so until the renovations are completed or if I get placed on the other side where there was no obstructions. While I wouldn't recommend the hotel at this time during construction, I believe it will be a desirable place to stay upon completion.”
