“As a single parent I was on a bit of a budget but definitely recommend the Currimundi Hotel. It may not be a high rise with ocean views but for the price its definitely worth looking at the Currimundi Hotel. 20 mins to Aussie world theme park, 30 mins to Australia Zoo, less then 10 mins to shops and a good quality fish and chip shop and only a 2 min drive down to family friendly Currimundi lake/creek and the beach. There was clean towels every single day when we arrived back from that day’s adventures and a laundry room free for all occupants to use and with a pool that is open from 7am - 9pm there’s more than enough time for a swim. There was no kitchenette in the room just a microwave but this was very minor as we just picked up a few microwave meals from the supermarket or took advantage of the 10% discount for hotel occupants in the bistro (just show your room key) or the many nearby take out places. Overall we were very happy with our stay and definitely recommend.”
