“Great location for exploring Hobart”

“Have always stayed here when visiting Hobart. Love the location - walkibg distance to the CBD, Salamanca and many restaurants. The only downside is very limited TV channels to choose from (not that you should be wasting time watching TV). It would be nice if they offered basic foxtel channels. ”

“The motel is located out of the CBD but close enough to shops and restaurants and public transport. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are dated but very clean and comfortable. ”

“Fantastic service, good food and the room was nice, with a great view of the gardens and the mountains as advertised. It was great to be able to have breakfast every morning at the restaurant upstairs - the building itself was so beautifully kept. Especially loved how they surprised us with cakes and tea with chocolates every night before bedtime! Only downsides were that the restaurant was closed at night (but we were advised of this prior to checking in which was helpful but a bit of an inconvenience). Internet didn't work at all in our room, and the bathroom vents had a lot of dust hanging out of it (the room was otherwise spotless). Heating in our room was not working so it was very cold - the staff did try their best to accommodate this by providing us with portable heaters around the room. Overall, glad we got to stay here as it was a place we were eyeing for some time. ”
