“We found that this accoommodation was in a good area for us as we would drive to Exhibition Park each day and it was only 12 mins away and was in a pretty quiet area due to the university not being open over the New Year break. We did have a bit of an issue with the cleaners not restocking coffees, teas, milk and bathroom stuff like shampoo and hand soap and had to get the night staff to fix. The food we found at the attached Labor Club to be not worth the price but the wee cafe on the corner by the hotel called Camerons was wonderful with yummy good priced food and coffee. We would recommend staying here still .”

“We stayed in the slightly more expensive renovated cabin. Was very nice and comfortable and warm. Unfortunately the room wasn’t setup for 2 single beds and as we arrived quite late, housekeeping had already left. However it was fixed the next day. I’ve stayed in lots of holiday park cabins and this was definitely one of the better ones (I booked the more expensive villa). Ants are an issue but not surprising given you’re so close to bush. ”

The Capuchin Room I stayed in was fantastic – not only was it clean and comfortable, but waking up to the playful Capuchin monkeys was truly exciting. The spacious wildlife park and impressive aquarium added to the thrill, providing unique encounters with various animals. Dining at the lodge was also a delight, and the highlight for me was having dinner with the majestic white lions. The overall experience was unforgettable, and I highly recommend Jamala Wildlife Lodge for a memorable and immersive wildlife retreat.”
