“Booked 15 minutes prior to arrival and my heart sank when I saw there was no reception desk. I shouldn’t have worried! Tried my booking number on the automated kiosk and no go. Rang the help number and was advised they were just adding my booking and 5 minutes later the key dropped out the dispenser. The location is perfect and close to Jetty road. The room is serviceable and clean. I extended my stay with an easy phone call. Only minor issue is the $100 deposit required and a quoted time of 10 business days to return it. ”

“Sadly the noise from outside traffic was almost unbearable during the night. Clearly windows are not glazed correctly- if this were to be rectified I would certainly recommend The George - presently I would not.”

“Good location, nothing fancy but fitted my needs. Only downfall was being put in the first floor with no lifts. So you have to carry your luggage up some very steep and narrow steps.”
